My name is Eliza (she/her). I'm 33 and grew up in Surrey. I moved to Totnes 3 years ago and have made close connections with lovely local families here offering childcare support.

I'm an experienced childcare professional - registered with Ofsted. I am a Level 3 qualified Forest School Leader, with both paediatric and outdoor first aid training.

My working week is split between running Forest School sessions for ages 3-6, and providing nanny shares for ages 0-4.

I have lots of babysitting experience including many first time / one off / weekend babysits. I'm able to provide care for families visiting Devon on holiday and for weddings - and aim to make this an easeful process for parents and children.

I have experience being with children and young adults with SEN, having previously worked as a learning support assistant, one-to-one job coach, and Challengers charity playworker.

I have a full driving licence, my own car, nanny insurance and bushcraft instructor insurance.

I practise the Hand in Hand Parenting approach which involves listening to children, offering warmth and empathy, holding space for emotions, setting fair limits, and responding playfully. I have completed a 'Professionals Intensive in Hand in Hand Parenting' course aimed at childcare professionals.

I have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
