My Experience
I've been a babysitter/nanny for 11 years, taking care of children at all ages, newborn and up.
I've worked as an au-pair in Norway for 4 months, took care of 2 boys. Great experience!
I have experience looking after children with special needs, mostly with autism. I have a younger brother with autism. Also have I worked with a 5-year-old with severe autism. Doing relevant activities and exercises.
I have great experience working with under 1's. I am currently studying to become a qualified Newborn Care specialist.
I work well under pressure so taking care of more than 1 child is more than OK.
I am happy with doing the baby's laundry, sterilizing bottles and bottle feeding, bathing, weening a child on to solids, organize activities, going on playdates etc.
I love to cook and bake, and more than willing to do so, both for the baby and the family if wanted.
I enjoy swimming, the park, singing and reading with children, whatever the age.
My Qualifications
I've finished a first-aid training, I have a drivers license, and am a good driver.
I'm patient, highly experienced, calm but firm, and take care of children as they were my own.
My native language is Icelandic but I also speak English fluently.
I also understand and can speak a little Danish as well as Norwegian.
