I am a happy creative and active Nanny. I write, make clothes, kitesurf, wakeboard (Yes started this at 40) and love beach walks with my dog. I love to be around people and look on the bright side of life. I’m very interested in psychology and sociology and the human psyche. I spend my own time researching childcare methods to improve happiness, resilience and self esteem.
My Experience
I have 25+ years experience in childcare and studied a B-tec in Early childhood development. Charges have been new born to teenage, often spending years working with families and have often seen the job through until the children go to school. I still am part of their lives and am Godmother to one of my charges. I am a sole charge Nanny who creates a magical and wonderful environment for the little ones, but this is all within the boundaries of expected behaviour. I treat each child with love and respect and as an individual with their own personalities. I understand the importance of boundaries and routine along with validation of emotions. My main focus is to create a safe and grounded world for which the child/ren can grow with confidence. I strive to create a great routine and happy home for parents and child.
