My Summary
About Me
My name is heather Boam. I am an ofsted registered childminder. I work along side my mum,who has been childminding for 30 years at her home. We have a purpose built play room and secure garden. We like to get out and about with the children as much as we can( parks, zoo, jungle madness, library etc). We provide children with a wide range of activities each day including messy play, arts and crafts, baking, story's and rhymes and much more. We currently do Linton Primary School.
I have twin baby girls and a boys who is school age.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a mothers helper before I went to university and got a 2.1 degree with honours in forensic science. When I had my son I decided to take a different career path and set up business with my mum (bev laud) childminding. I have worked with her since 2014.
My Qualifications
Derbyshire basic induction and registration training. Paediatric first aid. Food safety. Safeguarding. Confidentiality and information sharing. Child development 0-5 and 5-11 yrs. equality of opportunities. Promoting positive behaviour 0-5yrs. Additional needs. Working with listening boxes. Effective practice with the youngest children in E Y. Schemas. Safeguarding disabled children. Enhanced DBS.
My Availability
The setting is open between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
We are able to drop off and collect from Linton school and nursery.

We offer 2, 3 and 4 year funding.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we currently have a full time space available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£5.00 per hour but minimum sessions do apply. Adhoc is £5.50 per hour.
