About Me
Hi I'm Madeleine, Maddie for sort. I am 24 years old and have lived in plymouth all my life. I currently work in a nursery since 2017. I have always wanted to work with children even when I was one. I have been a qualified nursery nurse for 5 years in childcare but now wanting to start to work towards a business in child minding/ baby sitting. I am very passionate about working with children and love watching them grow away, smile and learning every day. I also have personal experience as I also have a son who is 3 years old starting school who is September.
My Experience
From a very young age I have had experience looking after children including my nephew when I was nine years old. I worked in a nursery for a week for my work experience when I was just 14 years old and now have a full time job in a other nursery where I have worked there since 2017. over the past year I have baby sit many children including the ages of two weeks old right up to twelve years old. I have experienced looking after children up to three days. As mentioned before I also have a son who is nearly 4 years old so have lots of personal experience.
My Qualifications
I currently have a level 3 qualified in paediatric first aid, level 2 food hygiene, and is qualified in level 3 in childcare.
I have also been DBS checked many times in the last 7 years.
My Availability
Due to my son starting school in September I am looking at working around this. However I'm more then happy to carry on working longer with my son. I also need to work weekdays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.50 per hour
My fees are £11.50 an hour for one child then a pound extra for each sibling/other child(ren) in the house that are under my care.

Maddie has been babysitting our son since he was a few months old and he is now nearly 2. Maddie has been looking after him on occasional evenings and overnight stays, covering all activities from bathing him and putting him to bed and feeding him, to taking him on trips to the park etc. We trust Maddie completely, and it was obvious from the first day we met her that she is a complete natural with children! Maddie also takes care to write out detailed notes for us from her time with our son, so that we know what he has eaten, what his nappies have been like and she also takes photos for us which is really nice. We both work full time, so it's nice to have a break but we also like to know what our son has been up to.
Maddie is a full time nursery worker, and we are actually about to place our son in the same nursery. We are really happy that he will already know Maddie, and he loves spending time with her.
We highly recommend Maddie, she is great with children and always very punctual, communicative and thoughtful.
