About Me
I am a highly experienced, reliable, energetic woman. Having previously worked full time at a school for 16 years as a Teaching Assistant, in this time I would also run a times tables club in the morning with another staff member. During the first lockdown I ran the 'hub' in a school for key workers' children, spending time organising activities with the kids. Over the years I have also worked with kids with behavioural problems and autism as well. Additionally, I have my own child who is now grown up and have also done a lot of babysitting. I would best describe my approach as having a good balance between being firm and friendly. In my spare time, I enjoy power walking, reading, watching films, and embroidery.
My Experience
I have looked after my nephew's children who are 3 and 7. I also worked full time at a primary school. I generally worked with ages 7-11. I worked with individual children or in small groups helping them to catch up. I also worked in the playground and as a mealtime supervisor if needed. I worked as a babysitter for two families on a regular basis. The children are aged between 3 and 10. My main responsibilities were making a light dinner, playing games, reading, getting them ready for bed, and settling them down.
I also have worked for a babysitting agency since 2016.
