About Me
Hi there! I'm Wanda, I have an OUTSTANDING Ofsted inspection. At present I have a full time place available. I also have free funded places for Sept and do a before and after school for ALBERT BRADBEER SCHOOL. I live on Longbridge Lane with my husband. Our 4 grown up children have their own children and live locally. Throughout all their upbringing I have been childminding and fostering continuously making a big happy family especially for the children in our care who needed stability and normality. Our house is always full of toys, glue and painting and child orientated, we also go out and about daily, whether this be to the school run (Albert Bradbeer primary school) play group, or trips to the park, woods, on day trips,we have lots of fun and I feel that the children in my care get a huge variety of activities in and outdoors. We meet up with other childminders, two of which are my daughters, who have grown up in this environment, so the children I care for have a lovely and very sociable time with me. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience of childcare, as I have been a childminder now for over 40 years, and before this I was a principal play leader, so everything has been very much child orientated in my career. I go on a lot of training courses to keep myself updated with all of the latest information and changes. I include lots of fun learning and experimenting and experiencing.
I offer a home environment so that the children feel welcome and relaxed with me.
The downstairs of my home is designated for the children including my large garden that boasts lots of sit and rides, play houses (including princess castle) climbing frames and many more outdoor toys.

My Experience
I ran my own play centre before getting married and combining bringing up my own children as well as lots of other children. Many years of respite foster care for children with high level special needs and supporting their families.

Funded places of 15 / 30 hours of free educational time is available. Flexible working hours .
Full/part time spaces, school holiday cover.
