Hello, my name is Emma.
I am an OFSTED registered childminder living in Biggleswade with my two daughters.
I live within close walking distance from the town centre and the train station.
We are a non-smoking household.
Our home is warm and welcoming and has a huge variety of age appropriate toys for all children. Children are free to explore and play inside and outside in my secure, enclosed rear garden!
I ensure that my setting is a relaxed, home from home, environment for the children in my care and find it extremely important that they feel happy, safe and valued the whole time.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and document children's development using a secure online learning journal and daily diary system!
My opening hours are 07:45-17:30 Monday-Thursday and 08:45-14:45 on Fridays.
My Experience
I have been caring for children aged between 0-12 years since 2006 and have worked within a variety of settings including private day nurseries, homes and pre schools.
I also have my own two children who have given me a vast amount of wonderful life experience!

• Level 3 award in preparing to work in home based childcare (Childminding qualification requirement)
• Paediatric First Aid (Expiry 2025)

• HENRY training - Ensuring babies, toddlers and young children have a healthy start in life.
• Delivering the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
• PACEY registered (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years)
• Full driving license
• Public liability insurance
• Own car, with business insurance cover and age appropriate car seats
