About Me
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse with over 20 years experience .I’m now an ofsted registered childminder and have had my childminding business for 12 years . I live in a quiet area of Kimberley . I'm extremely self motivated and provide a wide range of effective resources for young children . I have a good knowledge and understanding of children's development, following the guidelines from early years . I would describe myself as having a bubbly and friendly personality with a caring nature and just love to have fun with children . My setting is a home from home environment where children learn , have fun and develop at their own pace through play . We have local trips out into the community , enjoying a range of outdoor and indoor activities .
My Experience
I have managed a nursery for 5 years caring for children aged 6weeks to 8 years . There are many experiences I have had working in the childcare sector , schools , family centres and nannying and was a school governor for 5 years at a local primary school. I update my knowledge by attending a variety of courses I.e safeguarding , first aid , early years and completed my first year of an early years degree .
