About Me
I have been a Ofsted registered childminder since 2008. My husband is a secondary school PE teacher and we have three children. I am a self employed OFSTED registered childminder and I provided a safe, warm, caring and fun environment where all my children feel welcome and loved and are able to learn and develop at their own pace. I live near lots of local parks and have lots of toys to suite all age ranges. I have a large secure garden for lots of outside play and activities. I have developed a number of ideas and activities for developing the learning and play skills of children of all ages. I don’t shy away from getting involved in all the children’s activities and am always on the child level…I believe a happy child is a child that enjoys everything you do with them. I live close by to many schools and nursery's in the area and go to play sessions on a daily basis. I also have my own car and access lots of day trip out ie Safari parks / zoo / farms etc. I do offer funded places. please dont hesitate to contact me if you require anymore information.
My Experience
I have been an OFSTED registered childminder since January 2008, I give support, guidance and supervision so that all my parents have peace of mind knowing that their child’s well being is paramount and in a safe, loved and fun environment. I provide activities to each child's age, stage of development and individual needs and interests. I follow all requirements in regard to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I follow all guidelines in regards to the regulations set out by Ofsted, the Health and safety regulations, food hygiene, fire and planning requirements. Looking after children is such a precious part of life, having 2 children myself I can understand how important it is to build trust with the people you work with, as a happy child means a happy fun and enjoyable day for all.
