My Experience

I have worked in numerous roles throughout my career so far that has involved working with children and young people.

I find working with children and seeing them develop is very rewarding.

I worked as a part time nanny looking after a little girl from when she was 2 weeks old to just under a year. Working with an infant from a very young age was very rewarding and I enjoyed the experience throughly, being a part of a child's life, watching them grow and reach milestones in their development.

I have also spent a year working for a lovely family of 4 children (aged between 6 and 11, with twin experience) and my daily duties were varied and could see me doing the following; Providing round the clock care there was never a dull day in my life as a Nanny/Housekeeper. A typical day consists of getting the children ready for school and providing their breakfasts and organising them in time to catch the school bus. Cleaning the house, laundry, ironing, organising bedrooms and children’s play room, meal planning and preparation for the entire family, managing online food order and planning for the week ahead, school run/collection from after school activities, helping with homework, bath time and story time for the younger children. Carrying out errands for the family, taking the children to appointments, organising fun activities for children during weekends on call and holidays, liaising with other parents to arrange playdates etc . I also take care of the families puppy, walking, feeding, cleaning and taking to veterinary appointments and the cats.

I also have a niece (7) and a nephew (5) that I see and look after regularly and have an excellent relationship with.

I have worked also worked for the museums trust teaching children different activities from traditional crafts, cooking and medieval games.

I am looking for the opportunity to work with both parents and children and look after children again.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my partner, family and friends, walking, reading, baking and crafting. I also enjoy photography and studying. I am currently studying in cognitive behavioural therapy and find the mind fascinating how it works.

My Availability

I am looking for something ideally 3-5 days during the week, happy to do extra and babysitting etc.

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
