Hi my name is Melisa, I'm 34 and I live on a quiet cul-de-sac with my husband Matthew, our 8 year old son, 3 year old daughter and our Cocker Spaniel Coco
I have been working in childcare since 2009, I worked for 8 years in a private day nursery, the last 3 of these as the Deputy Manager. Before registering as a childminder in 2017. I have a great deal of experience in providing quality childcare, supporting children to flourish as young learners. I have a first class BA (Hons) Degree in Early years as well as childminding and child development qualifications.
I have a dedicated playroom with access immediately into a fully enclosed garden, offering a free flow play opportunity from indoors to outdoors.
I offer a welcoming home environment with a range of fun and stimulating resources and activities to engage children of all ages.
I have a full clean driving licence providing the opportunity to explore the local area on many outings, including trips to the local park, play gyms, farms, library and much more.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fees are payable in advance, before the 1st of the following month.
£45 full day (9 hours)
£5 an hour for additional hours
£7 before school (breakfast included)
£11 after school (snack and evening meal included)
This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, all snacks and drinks, and outings.
Nappies, wipes and formula/breast milk will be provided by parents.
I offer settling in sessions free of charge before your child starts with me;

My Daughter has been going to Mel's little explorers for over 14 months now, since she was 6 months .
I was really apprehensive about putting her in childcare as any 1st time parents would be but it's the best thing we did.
I am really happy with the care and service Melisa provides and now my son has started too and he is 6 months old.
As a family we definately recommend Mel's little explorers .
