About Me
We are a husband and wife team who are registered with OFSTED to provide full day care for children from birth onwards. We live in a four bedroom house, situated in a rural location which offers a spacious garden for outdoor play and lovely views of the local countryside.
Our aim is to provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment for children to learn through their play. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage(EYFS) and have a wide selection of resources to aid development in all areas of learning and development.
We have over 18 years experience in childcare and are qualified to a high level. We both hold NVQL3 qualifications and have up to date paediatric first aid, safeguarding levels 1 and 2 and Level 2 awards in Food Safety in Catering.
We pride ourselves on serving nutritious wholesome food, all meals are prepared fresh daily and where possible we provide the minimum 5 daily portions of fruit and vegetables. Menus are taken from Annabel Karmel's 'New Complete Baby and Toddler Meal Planner' I have just had my Ofsted inspection and was graded Outstanding March 2024.
My Experience
I started working in nurseries in 2002 and have been a registered childminder since September 2004.
My husband joined me as an assistant in September 2006 and has been a registered childminder since January 2008.
My Qualifications
I hold the following qualifications;
NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education.
CACHE Level 3 Certificate for Teaching Assistants.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Safeguarding Children Level 1 and 2.
Paediatric First Aid.
Gary holds the following qualifications;
Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
NV3 Level 3 in Childcare Learning and Development.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Level 2 Award in Healthier Foods and Special Diets.
Safeguarding Children Level 1 and 2.
Paediatric First Aid.
My Availability
Our working hours are;
Monday to Thursday 7.30 am until 5.30 pm
We do not work Public/Bank Holidays.
We do not offer school drop offs or pick ups.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Contact us for details of fees, we offer a flexible service, discount for siblings and we accept all types of childcare vouchers. We are also accredited which enables us to access the NEF(Nursey Education Funding) for 3 years old and upwards.
