About Me
Hi, I'm Clair Smith, Ofsted grading Outstanding (2018) I live with my husband and our 3 boys aged 19,17,17 in Flanshaw Park, Wakefield. I became a registered childminder in 2001 and had a break when my twins were born. I absolutely love my vocation and I'm passionate about early years education.
My Experience
24 yrs experience as a childminder.
I grew up as the daughter of a childminder from a large family. I am a qualified Teaching Assistant and in my role as a childminder have undertaken many courses to further my knowledge in early years education.
I am Ofsted registered, dbs checked, I hold public liability insurance, a level 2 food hygiene certificate, a level 3 first aid qualification, a level 3 safeguarding qualification.
My home is safe, secure and welcoming, a real family feel throughout.
