I am very much a people person and love meeting new people, this job role is my dream job and I enjoy working with children very much and for me it is important to enjoy your job.
My Experience
I have worked 2 years in a nursery where I worked with a variety of different age groups I was mainly based with the 0-18 months age group as I was a key person in that room for around a year and a half but I did spend a few months with the 18 months- 2 1/2 years as a key person too! But I do have experience with all age groups as well up to the age of 5. During my time at the nursery I wasn't involved in changing nappies, making bottles, creating activities for the children suitable for all needs. I also baby sat a lot for my mothers friends when I was younger and I have a younger brother who is now 8 years old who I also take care of when I need to. I am also a very good cook and can make a variety of healthy meals and snacks as I have experience working in a kitchen.
My Qualifications
I have a level 2 nvq in children and young people. I have a certificate in pediatric first aid and I have also had training on allergies and safeguarding. I am very familiar with the eyfs and I have a lot of experience of working alongside it.
