I have worked with babies, toddlers and children as a foster carer, qualified nursery practitioner and am currently enjoying life as a professional nanny, so, I have a great deal of experience working with families and children who are not my own.
I have two sons and a daughter in university/working.
My Experience
I have 20 years experience looking after babies and children. I love seeing a child growing into a healthy, caring, individual.
I aim to work with parents to create good routines that are also flexible enough to fit in with the family's needs, whether that is your work schedule, culture or child's learning abilities.
Most importantly I aim to understand the likes and preferences of the child and can provide outings, arts and crafts, cooking and homework support.
I have seen that learning comes naturally through having fun and having fun brings out the best in them .... that as well as having a truckload of patience. Being a magician, the Easter bunny and a pokemon expert is helpful too!

My Qualifications
NVQ3 and Cache Level 3 in early years child care, paediatric first aid, safeguarding, child development, food hygiene, de-escalation skills.
Over the years I've also undertaken courses such as counselling, therapeutic parenting, child observation and autism and epilepsy awareness.
I have an up to date DBS
I drive and have my own car.
