Hi, my name is April. I am a fun, easygoing person who is passionate about caring for children. I have a lot of experience with childcare over a range if different jobs. I will always put 110% into any job and make sure the children in my care are always happy and safe.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a Nanny alongside studying Psychology at university, studying child development helped me to understand the needs of children at certain stages in their lives. After university I went onto be a Kindergarten teacher in China, I was there for 2.5 years until the pandemic hit and I had to come back to the UK. I now work as a guardian for international students that come to study in the UK, making sure the children are safe and happy at their schools. I do this by conducting regular welfare checks and visits to them at their boarding schools or host families. During my time in these jobs I have worked with children from the age of 18 months to 15 years, therefore I have experience with a range of different age groups. I am now looking for some babysitting jobs in the evenings or on the weekends to help me save.
