About Me
Hello and welcome my name is Fee Packard and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Eastbourne.
I provide a safe, warm and welcoming childminding service for children aged from 3 months old. I aim to provide the best service possible for your child and yourself within my families home. I live with my husband Matt, our 2 sons and our daughter.
I have a cat called Cookie who is very child friendly.
As an Ofsted registered childcare provider I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure that every child receives a high quality and professional childcare service that supplies their learning and development.
My Experience
I started working as an Early years practitioner in a local nursery after qualifying from college. I worked with children aged from 6 months to 5 years. I was a key worker to a group of children monitoring each individual child's progress.
I moved on to become a nanny for a family of 2 boys where I planned daily activities, monitored their development and took them on regular outings.
I then took up a position of a nursery nurse in a local nursery working with children from 6 months to 5 years of age. I was a key worker to a group of children monitoring their development, I also helped with the day to day planning.
I was in this position for 7 months when I was promoted to Senior nursery nurse and became head of toddler room, I was responsible for over seeing the running of the room ensuring ratios were maintained, children's development reports were kept up to date and maintained. The weekly planning was completed by myself.
After 9 months of being in a senior role I was promoted to Deputy Nursery manager. In this role I supported the manager in the day to day running of the nursery. I remained in this position for 4 years before making the decision to leave to have my youngest son.
I am now an Ofsted registered childminder, I have public liability, home and car insurance in place for business use.
My Qualifications
A current paediatric First aid certificate
Level 4 qualification in Children's care Learning and Development
Level 3 qualification in childcare and education
Level 2 certificate in childcare and education
I have attending basic, level 1 and level 2 safeguarding courses
I hold a criminal bureau check certificate
I have completed a TALL within the speech and language therapy department
I have completed SENCO/inclusion training for childminders.
My Availability
Little Learners childminding is open from 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday both term time and throughout the school holidays.
Extensions to these hours as well as ad hoc babysitting can be arranged by request.
Little Learners will be closed on bank holidays.
I currently have availability every day.
I also have availability for school drop off and pick up every day to and from West Rise school.

My Fees

- Childminding from £5.50 per hour

I offer 15 hour EYEE for 2, 3&4 year olds.
I also offered 30 hour shared EYEE for 3&4 year olds.
