My Summary
About Me
I am currently looking for full time and/or temporary nanny position over the SUMMER 2020 from June till September when I return to University — please contact.
I am 21 years old, studying Physical Education at the University of Chichester aspiring to be a Primary teacher. Alongside this (in term time) I am a swimming teacher and work at a children’s nursery. As you can tell I like to keep busy!
I am very bubbly, sociable, enthusiastic, responsible and reliable. I feel that I can provide comfort and support to children whilst encouraging independence and self-confidence. I also believe in positive discipline, setting reasonable boundaries and knowing when to step back and allow the children to lead.
I love the outdoors and doing sporty activities. l am very active, I exercise regularly. I like to get out and make use of my free time by walking my dogs, going to the gym, going to the beach or seeing family and friends. I am very family orientated as I have a very big family.
I hope to gain more experience over the next few years before becoming a Primary School teacher.
I have an up to date DBS.
I have a clean and full licence with my own car.
My Experience
I currently work at YMCA Fairthorne Manor Nursery and teach swimming in term time.
I have completed voluntary work experience/placement at two local primary schools.
My last nanny position was in July 2019 as a temporary, full time (24 hour - live in) nanny position. This was for a family with two young children aged 15 months and 3 years.
April 2018 till September 2018 - Full time nanny for a lovely family with two babies aged 1 and 2 and a 7 year old. I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences and I would love to work with babies and young children again!
August 2016 - July 2018 - Super Camps multi-activities instructor at schools in Winchester. Super Camps is half term, day time childcare.
April half term 2017 - Nanny/mother’s help - 1 week Skiing holiday in France with an English family. 5 young children all under the age of 7.
September 2015 - December 2016 - Part time Nanny for a family with 3 children aged 5, 8 and 9 whilst I was at college. Some of the responsibilities I had were to take them to school, pick up from school, make supper and take them to their after school clubs.
