My Experience
I studied childcare at college straight from school as I knew it was always wanted to do. I have mainly worked in nurseries and pre-school with children aged 2-4 but have experience with ages 6 weeks right through to teenagers within those positions. I have also done a lot of babysitting since I was 15 for children from babies, right through to 14.
I worked as a mothers help/nanny for a family with 3 children for a while and helped with a wide range of activities from meal prep, dog walking, sole charge and bath/bed routines.
I have also worked closely with children with special educational needs, ranging from high functioning autism to cerebral palsy.
