About Me

I have worked in childcare for over 12 years and love looking after children and helping them learn and develop. I have worked in a Daycare setting looking after 2-4 year olds and often had up to 8 children in my care at any one time. I have previously worked as a 1:1 SEN support to a young girl who has autism for and I have plently of experience of sole care of a group of children. I also have previous experience working in a baby room looking after young babies and following their individual routines.

I have a degree in psychology and philosophy and childcare qualifications. I have just finished studying for my Masters degree in Family and Child Psychology and I am now looking for full time work.

My Experience

I have worked in a nursery setting for 12 years looking after children aged 5months - 5 years old. I have experience of working with children within this age range. I worked in a daycare setting with children aged 2-4 and I have previous experience of working in a baby room. I have experience of completing development files on my key children and of planning activities for children with different levels of ability.

My Qualifications

I have a certificate of higher education in primary school teaching which is the equivalent to an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I also have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
I have completed safeguarding training at work and online.
I have a current and up to date paediatric first aid certificate.
I have Level 2 certificate in Behaviour that Challenges.
I would be willing to register with Ofstead if required.
