About Me
Welcome to Bubble & Bloom. Hello, I'm Zoe I am a qualified childminder. I am located near to Worcester Park and Malden Manor train stations on a quiet cul-de-sac, with ample parking.
I am married and I have 2 bubbly children, a boy aged 6 and a girl aged 3. We have no pets and are non-smokers.
I am from a large family and being the eldest I have been around young children my entire life offering a helping hand where I can, and as a child I attended a wonderful childminder – who I will never forget. But it was becoming an auntie and a mum, when I fully understood how vital the early years development is. I have seen that by providing children with the correct environment to flourish but also challenging them to explore their own likes/dislikes, they will be able to grow into their own personalities and blossom into beautiful little humans.
I am passionate about providing a warm and friendly setting which gives parents reassurance that your child is in a loving home-from-home experience where everything is included. So from the moment you drop your child off you’ll know that there is nothing else to worry about and they are in safe hands, where they are happy, fed, clean, being challenged to learn new things and exploring the world around them.
I have a real homely setting where we will do lots of reading, singing, craft making, cooking and baking and plenty of play with fun and educational toys. But I believe that the world around us provides such a wonderful tool for learning and I encourage the children to be curious and ask questions. And so with child-led play, we go and discover new adventures every day at parks, farms (animals & PYO), libraires, soft plays, playgroups and many more local attractions, I have a number of annual pass memberships which I make good use of. I also have safe beautiful gardens (both out the front and back of our home) for us to explore, where they are plenty of toys and games to keep everyone entertained.
I understand that older children will have homework and I am willing to aid them whilst they are with me, but I also feel that it is important to strike the right balance and allow them to have some time to wind down, where they can play and relax after a long day at school.

My Experience
I have looked after children from an early age and so being around children of all ages comes naturally to me. I have babysat from my teenage years right into adulthood. Now an auntie, a godmother, and mum of 2 little tiddledywinks, becoming a childminder is a natural fit.
My Qualifications
I've completed my Introductory Training Course (which is Ofsted Recognised) and includes the following modules: Understanding and working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); Recording Children's Development; Safeguarding Children; Developing Children's Learning; Leading and Managing a Childminding Setting.
I have been a qualified first aider 20 years and now I have qualified for paediatric first aid.
However, I understand that there is always more for me to learn and I am looking forward to completing the following course over the next 6 months: Safeguarding Level 2; Food safety and hygiene; Autism Awareness; SEND early indicators and many more.
My Availability
I currently have the following places available:
0 - 4 years: 1 place available on Wednesday and Thursday
5 - 8 years (Before/after school): 2 places available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
8+ years (Before/after school): This age ground are not included in Ofsted ratios. So available upon request
However please note I am only able to offer drop-off /collection from Green Lane Primary & Nursery School.
Should the situation ever arise I am also happy to offer one-off overnight care which has been approved by Ofsted.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I charge £8 per hour per child, and includes home cooked meals, snacks and fruit, nappies, local day trips, etc. But I am happy to discuss fees and terms in person or over the phone.
I do offer a discount for siblings.
I understand how hard it can be to juggle a working life and a young family so I want to be flexible as I can be. I am happy to offer term-time only or holiday time only or all year round. Hours and times are flexible (within reason as I do need to ensure I can accommodate school runs) – again happy to discuss in more detail.
However, I do want to ensure that I get at least 1 day a week with my family, and so I do not work on Friday's.

Zoe minded our son on a weekly basis, picking up from school, feeding him healthy food, sorting out evening activities with him and even a little bit spelling practise! He had such a great time he never wanted to leave at pick up! Her home and family are so welcoming, she shows such care and love for the children at her setting and is adored by our family. I would highly recommend her.

My 10 year old and 6 year old have been being looked after Zoe for 6 months. They are incredibly happy with Zoe. They are always enthusiastic about going to her house and enjoy spending time with her and her children. I highly recommend Zoe. She is a caring and conscientious childminder. She is highly organised, very practical, she ensures that she does the best she possibly can as a childminder. She is fun but also very caring and I know my children are safe and well looked after with her. Her own children are lovely which I think is a great sign of a good childminder!

Zoe took great care of our twins for a few days during the summer holidays when they were 5 years old. They had such a brilliant time that they didn’t want to leave and kept asking when they could go back!
One of our daughters is gluten intolerant and Zoe was really mindful and attentive about this and I felt really good and secure in leaving them both with Zoe and her lovely children each day. I knew they were being well cared for as well as having loads of fun!

Zoe has helped us during difficult times looking after our baby twins on many occasions. She is a very caring, naturally attentive and understanding person. She would often go above and beyond to keep everyone happy and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
