About Me
Louise Fleetwood Childminding - Child led, play based learning is what my provision is all about. Whether we're exploring sensory resources or enabling a curiosity of our environment and setting, I follow your child's lead and interests. I'm a '1000 Hours Outside' and 'Hygge in the Early Years' practitioner and regularly head out on minibeast hunts, go on barefoot walks or out visiting farms, woodlands, libraries and museums. Parents receive regular photo diaries and are kept fully involved in the planning and development goals for your child.
My Experience
A mum of 2 with a previous role as an outdoor educator I have retrained as a childminder. I regularly attend training courses to expand and update my learning and have previously coordinated training on outdoor educator for other early years providers, trained in the relaxed and attentive Hygge style of child development and offer curiosity, awe and wonder wherever I can.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered chilminder (Good )
DMBC trained and registered, Safeguarding level 3, Paediatric First Aid, Portage (Special needs provision), Hygge in the Early Years accredited, network and extensive additional early years training
My Availability
Based in Barnburgh I am able to assist with full-time day provision as well as school pick up and drop off to Barnburgh Primary School.
