About Me
Hiya! My name is Lianne or Lianney as my friends and family call me. I am 39 and have been in Childcare for the past 20 years, 4 of the years working as a Nursery Nurse in a nursery/per-school setting and the rest of the years as a registered Nanny and also as a Personal Assistant to a young boy who has additional support needs. I am currently employed by East Lothian Council working as pupil support in a Primay School.
I have SVQ Level 3 Care and Education qualifications and fully trained in various levels of special needs, additional healthcare needs, physio, reflexology and First Aid. Moving & Handling Special Needs Children.
Fine Motor Movement in Children. Autism Awareness, Team Teach, Sign Along, Child Protection.
I have a love for music and believe it to be a great therapy to both adults and children alike. Over the years I have taught children how to play the guitar and I myself play the E Flat Bass Tuba which I learnt in High School.
I also do a lot of fundraising for children's charities - Scottish Spina Bifida Association and Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children (SNAC).
I am a very down to earth, hilarious (so I have been told) thoughtful and caring person who loves to laugh and make people especially children laugh. There is no better sound than the sound of children's laughter.

My Experience
Working in Childcare for the past 20 years, 4 of the years working as a Nursery Nurse in a nursery/per-school setting and the rest of the years as a registered Nanny and also as a Personal Assistant to a young boy who has additional support needs. I work the usual school hours so could be available late afternoon depending on the location. Mostly any evenings, weekends and overnights stays- Friday's and Saturday's albeit if I have a dog sitter for my wee blue whippet Alba.
