Victoria, affectionately known as Birdie to the children she works with, is a highly educated and competent nanny with many diverse holiday nanny and temporary and full time nanny experiences.
Currently available for Babysitting. Short term holiday Nannying and Ad hoc Nanny services.
Rates vary dependant on number of children, age and services required.
I have a current DBS, First aid Cert and Fully insured. Copies of this can be shown before I meet your children.
My Experience
From 5 Star otels, private villas to fully staffed houses, Birdie is a flexible and discreet nanny. Whilst fully capable of being in sole charge, Birdie is also happy to work with the family in a more relaxed setting taking social cues from parents, knowing when to step in and when to retreat to allow the family time together.
Birdie has one passion in life and that is discovery. This lends itself in turn to helping others explore the world around them. She brings this enthusiasm for life with her wherever she goes, whether it be in the kitchen enabling children to help pick and prepare food or stopping for a moment to marvel at a small insect. Birdie has somewhat of a talent for enjoying the simpler things in life. She likes to pass these experiences to the children she works with, whether it be jumping in puddles after a rain storm, finding shapes from within the clouds or going on scavenger hunts and being creative.
A confident and keen solo traveller. Birdie is used to being in new environments, mentally carrying out risk assessments and spotting potential hazards. Summers spent working at camps in America lent itself to high awareness of pool and waterfront safety and although no longer valid, Birdie has held American Red Cross lifeguarding and water safety certifications.
In the UK Birdie lives on a small holding, surrounded by nature, where something always needs fixing. Her strong work ethic always ensures that she will “muck in” with any task. When birdie is not nannying she loves to travel and explore different cultures. She is currently learning Spanish and is keen to become fluent. As an active individual, she travels with her yoga mat and walking
boots and is always never far from an adventure.
