Part of the family.

Mel has been in our lives for nearly 10 years. She looked after our first daughter, and then seven years later our second too.

She is dedicated to development and education and provides regular feedback on things we can spend time on at home.

Mel is very active and ensures the children are outdoors as much as possible which I've always appreciated. Even on days when the weather isn't great her garden is fully equipped to let kids explore, play and learn.

My youngest has been with Mel since she was a few months old, and seeing how her care has adapted over the years has demonstrated the knowledge and dedication that you get with someone as experienced as Mel. In fact she does such a good job our daughter rarely wants to come home!

We love how Mel tailors activities to each child's unique needs and interests. She's amazing with our son's allergies and eczema, always on top of his care . We love how she keeps us in the loop with daily diaries and fab photos.

Highly recommended Childminder!

My daughter has been with Mel for over a year now and I am so pleased with the service she provides. My daughter is always excited to go in the mornings and we struggle to get her out at the end of the day!
Mel is a wonderful childminder, she’s kind, patient and very trustworthy.
Anyone who manages to get a space with Mel will be very lucky!

Wonderful Short-term Wraparound Nanny

Mel looked after our two young children for the morning routine 4 days a week for 6 months. She was an excellent nanny. The children warmed to her immediately. She is kind, caring, punctual and trustworthy. All the traits for you look for in a nanny.

Would highly recommend Mel

My daughter has been with Mel for a couple of months now and has formed such a trusting relationship with her. Mel offers great activities that are both educational and fun. She keeps meticulous notes on her progression and daily activities. It’s quite obvious that my daughter loves to spent time with Mel Mel as she calls her and she looks forward to going to childcare which is a real blessing. We have already noticed her confidence grow massively. Knowing our daughter is happy when we are at work is just the best feeling. Would highly recommend Mel. Xxx

My little girl of 14 months went to Mels on a Wednesday while I worked . Can’t rate her enough truly amazing nanny highly recommend .

Wonderful, caring, professional nanny

Mel has been a private nanny for our 20-month-old daughter for the past 7 months, and we couldn’t speak more highly of her.

She’s caring, compassionate, creative, kind, helpful, accommodating and the type of person who’s made for the work she does.

Every day she takes our daughter outdoors and also does lots of creative artwork, letter and number learning, nursery rhymes, phonics and so much more.

We’re making a change to our childcare arrangements because of a change in our personal circumstances, otherwise we would have clung to Mel for much longer, as we know we’re unlikely to ever find anyone as good. She’s a tough act to follow.

The next family to get Mel Mel (as my daughter calls her!) will be very lucky.

5* Would definitely recommend!

Where to start with this wonderful childminder! Both of my children have been with Mel, my son since he was about 6 months old and my daughter from around 8 months old. Both of them love Mel Mel to bits! She’s very caring, fun, engaging, takes them out regularly to the park, Sealife Center (which is a firm favourite with my 2!!) and they always have a great time. Mel makes you feel at ease and is always very accommodating and flexible with days and times when I’ve needed to be! It made going back to work so much easier knowing they were in safe hands. We are going to miss her so much but luckily she is still going to be in our lives :-)

Fantastic childminder for my son

Mel looked after my son since he was 9 months old and he has just left. Mel and her family formed a beautiful relationship with my son and took him in as part of her family. He loved going to Mel Mels and was always happy and settled. I would highly recommend and use Mel again in the future.

My daughter's best friend

Our daughter was with 'Mel Mel' for several months, and over this time we saw her develop confidence, a fabulous vocabulary and a love of hanging out with other children of all ages. Mel is exceptionally well organised and the set up perfect for exploring and learning. We would not hesitate to recommend Mel to anyone in the area!
