About Me
I am a 30 year old British female, looking for childcare work in Faversham, Whitstable or Canterbury as I have recently moved back to England, after spending 2.5 years living in Holland, and 4 months travelling in SE Asia.
I am reliable, responsible, honest, caring, fun, kind but firm, experienced, qualified (first aid), capable, imaginative, engaging, respectful, calm, happy and sparkly.
I have plenty of childcare experience and a paediatric first aid certificate from the Ducth red cross.
I have many references you can contact, from Amsterdam (one and a half years with each family - making up a full week spread between four families), Brighton (family of four), Kent (two children, three days a week), Spain (au pair) and London (just babysitting).
I have worked as a nanny and as an au pair, live in and live out positions, doing sole care for children from 3 months to fifteen years (as well as watching new borns while the mum has had to pop out or take the elder sibling to doctors etc).
Hours are usually spent reading, doing puzzles, playing in parks, going for picnics, museum trips, attending playgroups, singing, dancing, playing games, doing school runs, baking cakes, going to the beach, playing with teddies, helping with homework, arranging breakfast / lunch / dinner, afternoon naps, nappy changes, bathing, dressing up and generally having a lovely time!
Also willing to do light household tasks such as grocery shopping, ironing (if the child is asleep), putting away toys.

One week looking after a 3 year old boy (from Paris) while his mum ran a pop up shop in Portobello.

One day a week with a girl, started when she was four months old. Now she has a newborn baby sister (7 weeks) I also spend some time with, but the mum is still on maternity leave.

Two days a week with two boys, aged four months and three years.

Amy is a confident, reliable, capable childminder. She has successfully cared for my 4 young children for almost a year now and they have all been happy to be left with and spend time with Amy, and sad when she leaves.
Amy is responsible and resourceful and has an abubdance of common sense, which is has been essential at times when I have had to run out the door leaving her to pick up the pieces and organise their various school requirements, lunchboxes, bags, afterschool club arrangements etc.

"Amy lived and worked with us as an Au pair in Barcelona for about 8 months.
Our experience with Amy was very good. She was very responsible and engaged with the children.
Her responsibilities included: preparing the children for school in the morning (incl. breakfast and snack boxes for school), drop off and pick up at the school bus, help with homework, after school activities, help with dinner, bathing and put to bed.
Amy is a very organized person. She was reliable and had high ethical standards which she also tought the children.
Also, apart from the routine Amy was always interested to find fun and educational activities for the children.
Our children loved being with Amy and we are still in contact.
