About Me
I am available to look after your children in your own home, where they already feel comfortable and safe. I am currently available week days, with occasional weekends when needed.
I have a baby boy who will possibly be with me depending on your requirements, providing a fantastic opportunity for both of our children to interact with other young children and gain social skills. I also have an older son who is 3.5 years old, he attends preschool during the week.
I have been working in early years for 14 years, and I am qualified to level 5 in early years care and education. I have received makaton sign language training, and for a short time I ran a baby BSL group.
I have up to date certificates in:
- First aid (both adult and paediatric)
- Food hygiene
- Fire safety
- Child protection
I also frequently attend training on various topics such as music in early years, sensory play, communication, behaviour etc. I have had some training on autism and have worked closely with children with autism and their families.
My Experience
Fourteen years working in a preschool with children aged 1-4, but I am happy to care for children of all ages.
