My Summary

My Experience

I have a lot of experience with children from Poland and abroad. I was an Au Pair in England where I used to take care of two kids. Boy (11) and girl (8). It was a great experience for me. My duties included preparing breakfasts and dinners. Children were spending all day long at school so I was responsible for easy household duties. George liked playing on Xbox so we played sometimes various multiplayer games. Imogen loved pretending that she is a star and gave me a lot of performances :). Also, she liked reading adventure books too. Before bedtime, she always read books to me. When the weather was nice we were spending time outdoors, we were walking with a dog or riding on a bike. Sometimes I had babysitting on Saturday. We spent time watching TV with a lot of popcorn.

Also, I was an Au Pair in Arta it's a small city in Mallorca(Spain). I took care of an 11-month-old girl. She was a very energetic and positive baby. When it was warm outside, we likd spending time outdoors. We went for walks, and play in the sandpit. Most of the time we used to spend outside. I enjoyed taking care of her. I'm happy that I had a chance to see her first steps or hear her first words. It's one of my best memories of mine. My main duties were: preparing healthy meals, putting her to bed, feeding her, changing her nappies, giving baths, and doing her laundry.

Two years of my life I spent in sunny California as an Au Pair. I can say that it was the most exciting period I have ever experienced. I took care of 5 years old boy and 3 years old girl and I became a member of their family. My main responsibilities were: taking kids to school, preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, helping them with homework, taking them for activities, going to the playgrounds, playing board games, and doing puzzles. Also, I had a lot of Au Pair friends, so we were organising a lot of playdates with our kids. Sometimes we did playdates at the park, and sometimes we did cooking/baking activities for them and they enjoyed it.
I am still in touch with the family. They visited me once here in the UK and I was there before the pandemic to visit them. I am planning to go and visit them again this year or beginning of the next year.

Also, in Poland, I used to take care of 6 years old boy and a one-year-old girl. She loved when I sang and read books for her, and enjoyed our playtime. I taught the boy how to ride a bike and it gave him a lot of happiness. We went for walks every day and spent a lot of time on playgrounds. I organized a lot of creative and educational games. We always spent time actively. At home, we usually played with dolls and cars, read stories to children and painted.

I used to take care of an eight-year-old boy. In the morning I prepared breakfast and I took him to school, then I picked him up from school, I also prepared dinners. He always said that I am a good cook. I also was helping him with his homework. During our free time, we went to the cinema, played football, rode bikes, roller skates and skateboards. We built a treehouse, we spent time there playing games. He is a very talkative person and we always had a lot to talk about. He was very interested in life and the whole world and I always helped him to understand many things. Sometimes when I have some free time I visit him and we spend a great time together!

I do not have any certificates. As mentioned in my experience I have 5-6 years of experience of taking care of children.
