About Me
I am a warm, friendly and bubbly person! I love working children! I graduated from Brighton University, studying Politics and Social Policy in 2013. I am a local to the area, I grew up in Lewes. I currently work in Lewes as a Cafe manager which is very children and baby friendly.
My Experience
I have had numerous roles working with children. I am a holiday club leader most summers which involves leading activities for children 7-11. I also volunteered throughout 2016 with an organisation called CCHF All About Kids, who run weekend respite care for children in vulnerable situations. During that role I had to be on duty for the whole weekend, entertaining the kids whilst time managing and being responsible or their safety at all times. I also worked in the retail shop Build A Bear in Churchill square, which I loved because there was so much kids interaction and a fantastic work ethos.I currently work in a community cafe, with a pre school room and love forming a bond with the regular toddlers that come in. I also was a child minder for a 2yr old boy one full day per week for 1.5 years until he started nursery. I now work as a Community Cafe manager, I have been working in the cafe since May 2018 when it opened. We are a very children and baby friendly place, and I love interacting with them and creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere for our customers.
