Hello families, my name is Alexandra. I am a qualified and experienced 28 year old, who has had the pleasure of working with children for almost 9 years. I am a non-smoker with a full/clear driving licence and i adore animals, so pet's won't bother me.
I am a polite, playful and caring person who can provide a safe and stimulating environment for children. I am very enthusiastic and positive about my role in children's lives. Promoting positive behaviour and being a fantastic role model is a must. I am also very organised and energetic! to keep up with the children of course.
I enjoy listening to music and having a good sing along, being outdoors and photography. These are things the children can join in too. I do enjoy a mixture of activities with the children I care for also such as reading stories, messy play, creative play, imaginative play and role play. When on outings weve enjoyed going to places like the library, soft play, the park, Gootopia, local farms, and many more places!
I am currently a support worker part time, alongside working within nurseries and I am looking to join a family as a part time/long term nanny.

I have experience working within nurseries, babysitting, part time nannying and being a nanny for 4 full days. I do have sole charge care experience and

Nurseries- I have worked in all rooms with all ages (0-2/2-3/3-5)
11 months as Part time nanny - child: 10 months old
babysitting- ages: 3 months- 13 years old.
2 months as 4 full day nanny then we went into lockdown.
Throughout my career I have gained experience in potty/toilet training, weaning and preparing milk. whether that be breast milk or formula. I have some S.E.N experience also. I have helped children with the transition of going to school. I have gained experience with allergies and I am confident to support families with this. Through my work i have gained extensive knowledge of the EYFS and the developmental milestones. Through childrens interests I am confident in helping them achieve their learning goals, through play or focused activities ( depending on their age).
I have some new born experience through my sister having beautiful babies!
I have babysat over night and cooked healthy meals for the children in my care.

I have been first aid trained 5 times.

5.BTEC in art and design and creative media productions.
I have an up to date DBS
My Availability
I am available 3 days. Some weekends i am available for babysitting. Flexible with start and finishing times, these can be discussed.
