Hello Parents, I'm originally from Suffolk, but currently living in Scole (South Norfolk). I will be moving to Norfolk Norfolk with my partner before September 2023. I’ve just had the pleasure of traveling the world for the past 6 months, so I’m now ready to jump back into my career.
I would describe myself as a nurturing and fun loving nanny, who is committed to
ensuring the children's educational and developmental needs are met. I am confident in my abilities as a nanny, and view myself as being a genuine, sincere and trustworthy person who is very passionate about their career.
I understand the importance of being reliable and consistent, in relation to this, I have never called in sick for any of my roles and have constantly ensured the children I am looking after arrive at school on time and are punctual for any extra curricular activities.
My Experience
I've had 9 years experience in Childcare, with 2 years in a care from home setting whilst completing my Level 3 childcare qualification. I am currently a self employed nanny, working part time for a family in East Norwich. I care solely for three children aged between (7 months-7years old) and I’ve been with them for almost 3 years.
Previous roles include 3 years in Essex with 2 little girls (aged 4-6years old), also a Mother’s help role in Norwich for a 1.5 year old and a new born baby. Responsibilities included: assisting the mother with weening, potty training as well as caring for both children at the same time.
Most recent role was based in central Norwich, for two little boys (18 months and 5 years old) for 7 months. Sadly this role finished as the parents had been offered childcare from the grandparents full time.
This role was based around keeping the boys entertained, as they had bundles of energy.
Adapting to the boy’s allergies, also having the knowledge and always being prepared to deal with a reaction.
I have readily available strong references related to these roles. Within almost all of these roles I've had many responsibilities such as: school runs, providing balanced meals, completing homework, bath and bedtime routines, after school activities such as; ballet, swimming lessons and tennis. Also making sure school holidays are fun and stimulating for the children by visiting the London history museum, the zoo, exploring castles and trips to the library.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Childcare qualification, First aid certificate and Food hygiene certificate.
