About Me
Hello, I’m Julie and I really love caring for children! I started babysitting as a teenager and have worked with children ever since. I find I can quickly put both parents and children at ease, and I enjoy time with the children whilst helping parents or giving them a well deserved evening out or weekend away.
I have a wonderful daughter, who is now 10, and being a mum is my dream come true. I look after all children as I do her, and am happy to help you out either occasionally or regularly, daytimes and/or evenings.
I am flexible to help with what the children enjoy and you need whilst I’m with you. I love healthy food and vegetarian cooking, reading, learning and the outdoors.
My Experience
I am 43 and have worked as a secondary school teacher, learning mentor, carer, support worker, au pair, babysitter and overnight/part/full time nanny - so I have over 25 years of experience with children! I have an empathic, fun, caring and calm approach.
My Qualifications
High second class Honours Degree in English and Sociology.
Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Teaching qualification)
My Availability
The family I am working with will soon be moving to Switzerland, so I'm available day time, evenings and possibly weekends if needed.
