Welcome to Lin's Tiny Tots Home Day Care
I am an insured Ofsted registered childminder (Early years educator). I love working with babies and children aged 0-4 years old and take great pride in aiding their development as they grow. I love being outside taking long walks, traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
I am based in Cheshunt and I live with my partner and 9 month old baby girl. Our home smoke free and is spacious with a secure back garden with an outside play room. There is a local playground close by where children can explore.
Full time spaces available for 2- 4
year olds.
Part time hours and flexible hours available.
Childcare vouchers available
Minimum of 5 funded hours per day available. Then current rate per hours applies.
My Experience
As an early years educator, I have years of childcare experience as a postnatal maternity nurse and nanny. I am passionate about ensuring that any babies and toddlers under my care have a fun filled, stimulating and educational day.
Through play centred activities, I will use the Early Years Foundation Stage to improve and track your child and children's developmental milestones. Please know that the majority of the time the curriculum will be set by the children! There will be no tick boxes just observations observation observations. Your child will be happy and safe under my care.
Working with children is not just a job for me, it is a passion. I consider my role in assisting in your child's development as my priority and I will endeavour to provide the best care tailored to your child's needs and development during those precious years in your child’s life.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid
OCN Postnatal and Infant care in Maternity care
Diploma in Maternity and Paediatric Support
BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies
GNVQ Intermediate in Health and Social Care in Health and Social Care
Early Years and Education Course level 3

Full Time Hours from 07.30 am / 08.00 am to 18.30pm

Linda provided our 2 year old son with attentive care and nicely varied activities, a great mix between learning and play. He is notoriously difficult to settle, but Linda persevered with him and won him over, and at the end of the day he left a happy boy!

She is sweet, kind, patient, honest, and trustworthy. She was amazing with my baby. You truly can't ask for more. She would be a great fit for any family that’s looking for a childminder.

It was always a pleasure looking after baby Noah. It is so amazing seeing him now all grown up and in reception.
Linda was nanny/chilminder to our first-born post-COVID (when we needed childcare "relief" and expert knowledge... all very badly) and she was an absolute delight from the very first time we met her.
From a professional standpoint, she is incredibly kind, reliable, thoughtful, and creative in terms of planning activities/meals/play experiences (and was an enormous help with feeding/weaning/navigating difficult phases), as well as patient and a highly skilled expert "all things childcare" across many age groups. We interviewed her alongside a number of options available at the time, and it was absolutely clear we made the right choice.
If Linda's childminding business was closer to our own neighborhood, our son (and now daughter) would **110%** still be in her care when we are working. In short, cannot recommend her highly enough and happy to provide a direct reference if helpful - she's the best! Travis

I cannot recommend Linda highly enough! She was our nanny for a year and took absolutely excellent care of our son, who was 1 year old when Linda started with us. She brought kindness, warmth and patience to her role and our son bonded with her right away. We completely trusted her with our child. Linda would take our son out for some fresh air and exercise every day and had lots of creative ideas for educational and artistic activities. Additionally, she would cook healthy meals every day. I learned so much from Linda during our time with her. If we lived near Cheshunt we would have our child at Lin's Tiny Tots Home Day Care in a second!

Ahh it was my pleasure and an honour to be part of the family. I miss you all ,if only Cheshunt was not far out of London. I had the best time looking after P, he is such a sweet, funny and caring little man. I can not believe how much he has grown.
