Our 9 year old son with cerebral palsy has severe mobility problems. He is charming, intelligent and although unable to talk, very keen to interact with people. He loves computer games, exercises, reading and role playing games.
Apart from supported seating and frames he doesn't need complicated specialist equipment and previous experience with disabled children is not necessary. However we are looking for someone who is able to spend quality time with him.
Job description:
Meet Kai at home when he arrives with his bus.
Help Kai eat his dinner.
Work with therapists to learn massaging and physical therapy basics, aiming to be able to apply some of them alone later.
Spend quality time with him and help Kai with his learning. (books, games, simple maths etc.)
