About Me
Looking to find a wonderful local family who require childcare during the day.
My aim is to help the children in my care develop into wholesome, adventurous, independent, peaceful and happy little people. I have many years of experience of working both privately for families and in settings with children and have studied child development in detail to degree level as well as holding EYPS and teaching early years. I also have valuable experience as a mother to my own children.
I would love to help with any care you may need during school hours, although would consider after school/holiday care should this fit with existing commitments. I have a large 7 seater car and full clean driving license.

My Experience
15+ years working with children from birth to school age, plus experience as a mother myself.
Experience as a Nanny as well as in full and part time day care settings and school; I have also taught as a tutor for childcare and as an advisor for registered settings.
My Qualifications
Early Years Professional Status alongside Level 6 (BA hons Degree)
Many additional courses surrounding child development, safeguarding, behaviour and promoting language and learning skills
Happy to provide CV & references upon request, and willing to re-register with Ofsted should this be required
My Availability
Part time availability during school hours, although would consider out of school care for children attending Pannal School.

Katy looked after my son during his pre-school years as a childminder. Her attention to detail was second to none, there were so many different activities for my son to enjoy and she really ensured that even though he was only 2 that he was still learning through play. Kind and considerate I would totally recommend Katy to anyone who wanted to use her.

Katy was a play worker and then Deputy manager at our before and after school club for several years. She always displayed a maturity beyond her years, had a great sense of fun and we were sad when she moved on to further her career. She was responsible and calm, and the children enjoyed her company tremendously. Any family would be lucky to have Katy nanny for them!
