Hello
My name is Trudie i have been childminding for 12 years . I offer a warm friendly , family environment offering flexible hours of childcare to work around your requirements. I aim to create a happy , caring and stimulating "home from home " environment, were all children receive the attention and encouragement they need to thrive . I want all the children I care for to feel at home , safe, happy , content, and included with my own children . I have a playroom full of toys , books , arts & crafts materials etc .I have a large kitchen where we eat meals and do art and crafts and baking activities . We have a nice garden which is laid with astro-turf so can be used all year round for outdoor activities such as football & other ball games, mud kitchen sand play , skittles , role play etc. I will include involvement in activites such as family mealtimes , cooking , shopping , gardening , where your child can play, learn and develop .
My Experience
I have been childminding for 12 years . I have experience of working with lots of different age groups , as a mother myself of a 21 year old and a 19 year old I have newborn experience . my first children that came to me were just 8 weeks whom I still care for now . Some of the children I care for are of school age .
My Qualifications
I have completed cache level 3 diploma in home-base childcare and have completed first aid training in early years . Iam a member of the national childminding association and am Ofsted registered . I have had medical checks and both myself and my husband have had checks cleared by the CRB( criminal records bureau ). I am able to offer funding for 3 year olds and also offer funding on the free for two scheme.
My Availability
I have 1 space available and am able to collect / drop off at some local schools at the moment I collect from grove park .

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
Daily rate / hourly rate. Rates will be discussed with parents and are dependent on the age of child attending , siblings and the hours attended . Please give me a call for any further information .

When we were looking for a childminder, our son was 18 months old and we had only 18 months of experience as parents. It was a big step for us, how can you leave your child in someone else's care, will he be safe, will he be taken care off, hugged when he cries, fed when hungry, loved when he feels sad?
Million questions were going through our minds and equaly, we visited quite a few childminders and for all of them we found something not right for us. Until, we knocked on Trudie's door!!
Honestly, we just felt like in heaven!! A place of happiness, learning, acceptance, safe and absolutely spotless.
Just 5 minutes talking with her and seeing her environment was enough for us to say yes.
Our son absolutely adores her and she has helped him develop into a bright young boy, hes's been under her care for 3 years allready and we can't be thankfull enough for her help.
We consider her part of our family now and we hope she'll bring the same joy and support to many more children and parents.

Trudie has been our childminder for around 4 years and we would highly recommend her services.
Trudie provides a warm and friendly setting which is also educational and supportive. Trudie also keeps us updated on what the children are doing and sends photos.
As well as playing in the home, the children are taken out to parks and play centres on a regular basis and are able to socialise with other children who are cared for by other childminders.
Our children enjoy their time with Trudie and are happy to be cared for by her.

I'm sure it was a twist of fate that I met Trudie when I was pregnant with our first daughter. She looked after our little girl from 9 months to 2.5 years. She offers a real home away from home childcare experience. She clearly loves her job and all her babies (all her children are her babies!!), and they love her right back. Trudie is very focused on every stage of child development, and sees it as her role to prepare each child for school. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She made a mothers guilt of returning to work so much easier to bear. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If she had a space grab it with both hands, as childminders like Trudie are like gold dust!!

Overall
I am so happy I ran into Trudie while she was out with "her" children whilst I was on maternity leave after my second daughter was born. I could see immediately that she was a complete natural with small children - she genuinely loves all of her children and they love her right back. She has looked after my second daughter full time since I returned to work as well as doing the school run with my older daughter. I am so much happier with the care my children are receiving than I was with the nursery I used first time around. I can see that my children and happy and secure, and my youngest is so confident - she has really blossomed and I can share each of her triumphs with Trudie as we gloat over "our" little girl! She is an absolutely indispensable part of our family - I can't imagine how we'd function without her. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Overall
I run a childrens painting studio and play area in Sittingbourne. Trudie has been a customer for many years with her own children and the ones that she looks after. It is so wonderful to see a person give as much love, care and attention to others as she does her own. You can see the children adore her and are all so well behaved and poilte.
If I was asked to recommend a childminder, Trudie would be the first. She gives each child lots of attention and is always playing and interacting with them.
It is wonderful to see that children stay with Trudie for a long time and they and the parents become part of her life.
