Hi – My name is Pamela Barker. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and have worked with children for 24 years +. I have experience with children from newborn to teenage years.
I am married and live with my husband and 7 year old son in Bromsgrove.
My Experience
My background started with training as an NNEB Nursery Nurse and working in a Private Day Nursery and School. I then completed a First-class Honours Degree at Worcester University in Early Years and trained to be a teacher. I worked at a First School for 22 years where I became the Early Years Foundation Stage Coordinator and Senior Leader. I then had the privilege of becoming a Mummy myself and have a little boy called Henry. It is from here that I decided to become a registered childminder. I did this for 5 years. I currently own and run a part time Early Years Group 'Fun Foundations' for children and families and teach part time.
I AM CURRENTLY REGISTERING WITH OFSTED TO OPEN AS A CHILDMINDER IN SEPTEMBER 2024!
