My name is Alison and live in West Dorset. I am a country girl at heart, but have worked in towns/cities. I love the outdoors, the beach and travelling. I'm an active person and like the extreme type of sports. I own a motorcycle which I love to ride when we get decent weather. I am a huge animal lover too..!
My Experience
I kind of fell into nannying over 20 years ago when returning from 2 years of travelling. It is now a career I enjoyed and find very rewarding and proud of the children I have had a hand in raising to young adults in some cases. I enjoy the homely life and each day can be different, but the same.
A joy to see children reach their goals and with the young ones, fulfill their 'firsts'..!
My Qualifications
As I fell into this career over 23 years ago after back packing around Australia. I never acquired the necessary qualifications for nannying, nor have I ever needed them. I do believe experience is much better than any piece of paper..!
My Availability
My availability is now and am looking for a full time weekly position. I would be willling to do the odd occasional weekend, but would prefer to have them free for my personal life.
