About Me
I am a qualified Early Years Practitioner and have had the pleasure of working with children for over twenty years. I have skills, knowledge and experience of babies up to teenagers, working with many different families in a Council school and nursery setting as well as an Independent School. I have two wonderful children of my own aged 13 and 17 and our furry doggy friend who is adorable.
A few years ago wehave relocated from Edinburgh to Dunfermline and are now starting the next chapter of our lives in fantastic Fife, where I hope to help nurture, care for and work in partnership with a family who are looking for my help!
My Experience
I have a natural infinity with children and really care about helping them fulfil their potential in a nurturing and happy environment. I love to be creative and spend time outdoors, getting dirty and most importantly having fun.
I have attended training in first aid for babies and children, mindfulness, numeracy and literacy, loose parts, sensory workshops and planning for babies and young children and hope to apply my skills and knowledge when caring for a young family. The best experience I have gained is from being a parent myself, this has taught me patience and understanding and the importance of positive relationships.
