Hello, I am a hardworking, trustworthy person who genuinely loves looking after and supporting people, especially children. I enjoy being active and outdoors as well as homely and creative. This includes planning fun activities and adventures, cooking, arts&crafts, reading, playing and homework. My Experience
I have 20 years experience of working with and supporting families. I have worked in various settings including several family homes as a Nanny between 1990-2006. I have experience with newborns and children of all ages including twins. I was a teaching assistant at St Aidan’s nursery, infant and primary school between 2006-2010. I have also worked in retail at The one hundred acres toy shop and Rub a dub dub toy shop promoting age/ability appropriate toys and activities to aid child development. Between 2014-2018 I worked at a College supporting 16-24 yr olds with a complex range of clinical, physical & learning needs. 2018-2021 Special Needs Nanny for a family with a 5yr old boy and 1yr old girl with additional needs. I implemented Physio SaLT and OT therapies in accordance with her ECHP. Currently providing wrap around care and holiday provision for 12yr girl and 6yr boy. I also raised my own two children who are both pursuing careers in child care, my eldest is a nursery practitioner and my youngest is completing her degree to become a primary school teacher.
