About Me
Hey, my name is Carrie and I am 30 years old. I am offering casual babysitting services for evenings and weekends. I have experience of working in a nursery setting and also lived in America as an au pair for one year. I returned home from America in 2018 and since then have been working in an office job in Belfast, however, I do miss my jobs working with kids. As it stands I still work full-time in my office job but I am now available for evening and weekend babysitting. If you have last minute plans, want a date night, have to work late - I’m available to help you out.
Working with children is something I have always loved. I come from a big family - I’m the oldest of 6 and have 2 nieces aged 1 & 4 who I babysit regularly. I have a degree in Childhood and Youth studies but I really gained my experience from growing up with younger siblings, working in a nursery with ages from 1-5 and my year as an au pair with infant twins and a toddler.

My Experience
I have two full years experience working with children full-time between the ages of newborn - 10 years old.
May 2017 - May 2018 - Au Pair
As an Au Pair I cared for three children; 3 month old twins and their 2 year old brother over the period of a year.
February 2016 - April 2017 - Nursery Assistant
Working in the nursery I was primarily working with children aged from 1-2 years old. However, I did also work in other rooms ranging from 3 - 10 years old when needed.
Before travelling to America I also babysat for three families.
Family #1 - I cared for their newborn baby and her 10 year old sister for full days and overnight over the period of a year.
Family #2 - I cared for their 2 boys aged 2 and 6 years old roughly one saturday per month over the period of 6 months.
Family #3 - I cared for their daughter most weekends as the parents both worked on Saturdays over the period of 4 months.
Since returning from America I have cared for my two nieces who are 4 and 1 and have cared for since birth when needed. This has included overnight stays.

My Availability
I am available most weekends or evenings. I am very adaptable and aim to be able to help you whenever needed as I understand how hectic family life can be at times :)
