Hello all,
I’m a british nanny and maternity nurse with over 20 years experience. I’m friendly, open, approachable and genuinely love what I do. I have particular experience with twins. I have a great sense of humor which I’ve found helps a lot during the sometimes challenging firstborn weeks with a newborn! I have had experience with reflux, sleep issues, breastfeeding problems, and premies. I keep myself up to date with the latest WHO guidelines regarding feeding, safe sleep and anything else I deem relevant to provide the best care possible. I strongly believe that a maternity nurse should provide emotional and psychological support to the new parents, and I actively look for ways to encourage and advise whenever I can!
My Experience
As a nanny I have over 20 years experience, much of it with newborns and babies. As a maternity nurse I have a year of specific experience. Excellent references and a current CV are available on request! I hold a Spanish police check. (Equivalent of DBS). I’m happy to offer a further background check should it be required.
My Qualifications
I’m in the process of completing my MNT level 3 Maternity Nurse qualification. I have attended numerous informal workshops provided by pediatritians and nurses on a variety of topics from breastfeeding and baby wrapping, to sleep and routines. I’m familiar with both babyled and attachment child rearing strategies as well as more routine based ones such as the Baby Whisperer. I practice gentle parenting in line with the latest guidelines and recommendations.
My Availability
I’m available for a 24/5 position anywhere in the UK, Spain or Canada from January 2024.
I’m also available for daily positions in the Peterborough, CAMBS area of the UK. I live between Spain and the UK but cover my own travel expenses and have complete availability to travel. I also offer my services as a night maternity nurse only. Please let me know your individual needs and I’ll try my best acommodate them!
I conduct initial interviews via videoconference at a time convenient to you. Often my bookings do not allow me to attend in person interviews however both written and contactable references are available.

My Fees
- Maternity Nursing from £16.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
24h rates: £240-300 for a single baby
£320-400 for twins
Hourly rates: £16/hr single baby
£20/hr twins
Rates may be negotiable under certain circumstances and depending on duties expected. Please feel free to contact me with your individual family needs and I may be able to offer a tailor made package.
For all bookings I require one weeks deposit which is 100% deductible once the booking begins.
