I'd like considering myself an empathetic person, genuine, reliable, trustworthy, responsible who is focused in children development through educational games and activities.
My interests are cultures, travelling, food, cooking, nature, dance, music.
My Experience
I have experience in childcare since I was at university in Italy as a nanny, tutor and nursery practitioner with babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
In London I started to work in childcare in 2016 working as a Nursery Educator for an Italian and Montessori nursery, mostly with toddlers.
I have also worked as a Nanny with different families, taking care of toddlers and babies (from 6 months to 5 years old).
My job includes taking care of children, organising indoor and outdoor activities, keeping the routine for the well being of the child, taking children on outings (parks, farms, classes, playdate, museums), making and offering nutritious meals, general hygiene routine, communication and feedbacks with parents, teaching Italian skills- I am so very much proud when kids learn colours or numbers, or even a few Italian words ??
As a key teacher I was planning weekly activities according to the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) for my key-children identifying their individual needs and interests, observing them and reporting, supporting children developing skills through activities, supporting children following hygiene routine, taking children on outings, meetings with caregivers and parents, teaching Italian skills.
