My Experience
I held a role as a part-time sole charge nanny for two families across 5 years. During this time, I was looking after G1, B5 with family one and B3, G4 with family two.
I have worked with a little girl from newborn to 10 months as a night nanny.
I held a voluntary role at the SNAP (Special Needs And Parents) centre, helping and encouraging children with special needs to work towards building self-esteem and confidence and encouraging creativity and imagination.
I have worked as a nanny for 2 families Both families had a child on the autistic spectrum and I was responsible for ensuring the daily routine was followed as much as possible.
I worked for 9 months with G5 who is on the autistic spectrum as an ABA tutor within her home and mainstream primary school setting.

It's a real shame that Mary didn't turn up for the interview we had arranged today with me, my husband, our home program supervisor and lead tutor (which was also confirmed via text last night!) We have waited all day for her to respond to a text and voice message enquiring what happened but she has not replied so unfortunately I feel I have no choice but to share our experience with other families :(
Overall
Mary was my little girl's nanny for 14 months before she started school: If I could have kept her longer I would have! She's still a dear friend and my daughter loves when she comes to babysit. She's very professional and kept me regularly up to date on how Maisy was doing. She's fun and playful and values education very highly.
If I have another child I will certainly be hoping Mary has availability!
