About Me
Hello! My name is Kate and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder working in Greasby. I live with my 2 daughters (ages 18 years and 12 years).
I offer childcare for children of all ages in a relaxed, home environment. We have a playroom and large garden with lots of toys, games and activities. We also have several pets.
Children will be taken out to enjoy different activities such as playgroups, indoor play areas, the library, parks, farms, the beach and other places of interest.
Activities at home include baking, gardening, games, crafts and free play.
I had my first Ofsted Inspection in December 2011 - achieving 'Outstanding' in Safeguarding and Communication and was graded 'Good' overall.
Ofsted inspections September 2015, October 2108 also graded 'Good'.
My Experience
I have worked as a nurse in the NHS for 17 years.
I have been a Registered Childminder since June 2011.
My Qualifications
I have completed the following courses;
Introduction to Childminding Practice
Safeguarding Children and Young People
Paediatric First Aid
Early Years Foundation Stage Training for Childminders
Common Core Skills and Knowledge
Level 3 Diploma - Children and Young Peoples Workforce
My Availability
I offer full and part time places for children of all ages. Please contact me to discuss my availability.
I offer school runs for children attending Greasby Infant School, Greasby Junior School, Our Lady of Pity and local preschools.
I generally work from 0730 until 1730 Monday - Friday, although if you need more flexible hours, please ask.

Kate has looked after our two boys, now 6 and 4 years old, for the past year and I can't praise her highly enough with regards to the care she has provided during this time.
They clearly feel at home with Kate and her family and she has taken a lot of time to take them out and about whilst making their time indoors also enjoyable and interesting.
Kate is very professional and consistent in her approach in dealing with our boys and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.

Overall
Kate is an excellent childminder and she has looked after my 8 year old daughter for about a year. She has been very flexible in her approach by collecting her from a school club after school hours and helping with her work on homework days. Kate has been very professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending her. Thanks Kate :)

Overall
I have 2 children who are looked after by Kate and have been since they were babies. I am completely satisfied with the care Kate provides for my children. Kate has a lovely house with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities and offers a range and activities to suit the preferences and needs of my children. This includes activities like painting, cooking, gardening, playgroups and library 'bounce and rhyme' sessions. I also feel comforted in the knowledge that Kate is a trained nurse.
I know my kids love their time at Kate's. Initially my little boy went to a local nursery but he was constantly ill and always ran to us wanting to leave when we turned up. Now at Kate's he is often having so much fun he doesn't want to leave. As well as with Kate my kids have also formed strong relationships with Kate's 2 daughters who are lovely children.
I can't recommend Kate enough. A very happy mum :-)
