About Me
I absolutely love working with children I have been doing loads of babysitting jobs since I was in secondary school for family friends and also a few who have requested me through friends. I am experienced with a range of different ages from newborn upwards. I myself enjoy going to the cinema, cooking healthy meals and love to have everything in order (Cleaning). I have been around children my whole life as I come from a large family. I consider myself to be a kind, outgoing and likeable person. I am passionate about working with children, understanding child development and making sure every child feels included and safe. I am a very well mannered, friendly person and love helping out as much as I can. I am very creative and love to plan activities with children to keep them active and help them gain knowledge and new skills.
My Experience
I was working part time as a Teaching Assistant in an Independent School working with vulnerable students who have special needs. This role requires patience, understanding and care. I also nannying one day a week (Sunday) my role includes taking the children to the park, we go on outings with the parents, play board games, I give the boys lunch, I put the toddler to sleep and tidy around the play area.
In 2020 I working as a part time nanny, my working days were Monday-Thursday and weekends for additional babysitting.
The children aged 12 and 14. My role included ironing, cooking healthy meals and making sure the lovely children have completed homework! I also work in a school on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays supporting 13-16 year old children with challenging behaviour.
In 2017- 2020 I worked as a part time nanny with an amazing family, my role included picking the three children up from nursery/school, cooking healthy meals, outdoor activities, bath time and story time as well as educational activities. Also occasional over night stays when parents went on holiday. I have lots of experience with children and enjoy working with them. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :).
