About Me
I am a mother of two teenage children, I am caring, innovative, fast thinking and efficient individual with lots of experience with children. I became an Early Childhood Educator because from a very young age I always loved children, so it seemed like a natural progression for me to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education.
My Experience
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse CACHE diploma in Nursery Nursing with over 20 years experience, I have worked within a range of settings with children between the ages of birth to 6 in private and state schools.
I am trained with all the latest interventions to help with early reading, writing and numeracy I am confident with RWI phonics. I am a first aider with the ability to keep calm in stressful situation, I have worked with children with a range of medical and specific needs which require careful observation and administration of medication and specific diet.
I have nurtured, guided and scaffolded my own children into their teens which is as rewarding as it is challenging.
