About Me
Hi, my name is Claire Wilson and I am a registered Childminder. I live with my husband David and have 2 boys aged 5 and 3. I live in a spacious, detached house in the beautiful village of Hilton, Derby which has easy access to the A50 and A38. Our house is non-smoking and has a large, fully enclosed garden filled with plenty of outdoor toys and we also have a ready-made playroom. We are also in the fortunate position of being in walking distance of 2 fantastic playgrounds and also the Jangala Soft Play centre which my boys love. There are also many classes run in the local area for children such as music and playgroups which I have taken my boys to in the past as well as farms, a marina and a local airfield. We love being outdoors and all activities will be personally tailored to the interests of each individual child.
My aim in childminding is to provide your children with a loving, fun and caring environment where they can grow, learn and most importantly have fun and express themselves.
I also offer funded spaces for 2, 3 & 4 year olds and accept Childcare Vouchers.

I have worked with children since I left school at the age of 17 and have accumulated 15 years of childcare experience since then, 8 of which were as a Deputy Manager of an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery.
My Qualifications
Level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies
Level 3 BTech National Diploma in Early Years.

My working hours will be Mon-Fri - 7:00am until 6:00pm but I can also be flexible to suit your requests.
