My Summary
About Me
I’m an 22 year old male who is looking for baby sitting opportunities across Perth City Centre! I currently have just concluded my 3rd year of Primary Education at Strathclyde University. I have previously studied at Perth college in HNC in Childhood Practice with placement at Fairview school. I am also a member of the PVG scheme and SSSC registered.
I have just just completed my role as a Pupil Support Assistant with Perth and Kinross Council at Fairview School which I started in August of 2020 and left in September 2021, with aspirations to become a Primary School Teacher.
I have just started studying Primary Education at University of Strathclyde.
My Experience
I currently work for a Perthshire based charity called SHIP as a Play Practitioner. SHIP offers a variety of respite opportunities for children with additional support needs. I have received various training in challenging behaviour, Makaton and autism. I am also First Aid, moving and handling and Peg feeding trained! This role includes Personal care (changing nappies and pull ups), administration of medication and providing play opportunities for the service users.
I also work as a part time carer for a young boy with Down syndrome, Autism and ADHD. Taking him out most Saturday’s to places like swimming, trampolining parks and general play parks.
My Qualifications
I have just finished my HNC in Childhood practice which I received grade A.
Whilst in school I studied SQA Higher Art, English, Childcare and Health and Food technology. I also studied Spanish, Mathematics, chemistry and music at National 5 level.
My Availability
I am available weekdays after 5pm!
